Board Approved District Calendar

The Blue Springs Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 calendar on December 11, 2023, and also reserves the right to adjust the calendar due to any unforeseen circumstances.

First Semester Important Dates

• Professional Development Days - August 12-19
• The First Day of School - August 20
• Labor Day - September 2
• Parent/Teacher Conferences - October 24 and 25
• Professional Development - November 4
• Election Day/No School - November 5
• Thanksgiving Break - November 27 - 29
• Last Day of First Semester - December 20

Special days to note: Semester One has 81 Days, 2 Parent/Teacher Conference Days, and 7 Professional Development Days

Second Semester Important Dates

• Professional Development Day -January 6
• Students Return - January 7
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day - January 20
• Professional Development - February 4
• President's Day - February 17
• Spring Break - March 17-21
• Professional Development Day - April 8
• No School - April 18
• Last Day of the Second Semester - May 23
