About the Closet
The Closet is an outreach program for families of the Blue Springs School District. Our goal is to serve all families in need within the boundaries of the school district. Children, birth through grade twelve, may receive five pants, seven shirts, a winter coat/jacket, new socks, shoes, hat/gloves and new underwear per session.
There are three sessions per school year.
The Closet is closed when school is not in session.
Back To School Session:
- Wednesday, August 7 - 5:30-8:30 p.m.
- Thursday, August 8 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 14 - 5:30-8:30 p.m.
- Thursday, August 15 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 21 - 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Thursday, August 22 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Fall/Winter Session:
- October 9 to December 12
- Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m.
- Thursdays, 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
Spring Session:
- March 12 to May 15
- Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m.
- Thursdays, 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
