The Blue Springs South High School Jaguars softball team hoisted a familiar piece of hardware in front of classmates this fall. The Jags celebrated a second straight Missouri Class 4 State Championship, wrapping up a fourth straight trip to the title game.

It’s one thing to be able to throw confetti at your bandmates in sheer joy finding out you are going to march at the historic Macy’s Day Parade in New York City – it’s a whole other level to be there putting a foot on the pavement and playing to a crowd of millions.
