Lisa Anthony - November 2024 Employee of the Month

It is my pleasure to introduce Lisa Anthony as our November Employee of the Month. Lisa is a fourth grade teacher at Chapel Lakes Elementary who has been with the district for 11 years and in education for 21. Lisa consistently takes on challenging situations with grace and resilience, ensuring that every student receives the attention and support they need. Additionally, she serves as CLE’s go-to technology expert, seamlessly integrating innovative tools and resources into the classroom to enhance the educational experience. Her multifaceted skills and compassionate approach make her an indispensable member of the CLE team.
Lisa wears many hats at CLE, including being involved in Book Club, CARE team, Robotics Club, Building i-tech, NWEA Teacher Support, Tutoring and LETRS Training. She was named the school’s Teacher of the Year in 2021-22 and is a former Girls on the Run coach.
CLE Principal Liz White said of Lisa, “She is an invaluable asset to our school, demonstrating unwavering dedication and hard work in every aspect of her role. Her patience and kindness shine through in her interactions with students and colleagues alike, creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.”
Fellow CLE teacher Katie Joffe said, “Being able to work with Lisa over the last seven years, I have gotten to see the kind of educator and person she is. She is someone who cares so deeply about the people around her. She is someone who will put down anything to help you whether it be about academics, technology (her specialty), or just needing advice about anything. She creates such meaningful relationships with her students as well and has such a great classroom environment. She is such an asset to Chapel Lakes, and we are so lucky to work with her each day!
Counselor Stacy Scalfaro added, “Lisa is kind, compassionate and always willing to listen and help. She is patient and loves being part of CLE. Her classroom runs like a well-oiled machine. She makes her teaching look effortless because she is a natural. She has high expectations of her students and it’s evident when teaching in her room that they feel loved and part of her classroom community.”
CLE kindergarten teacher Laura Jennings said, “Lisa is a team player. She is always there to lend a hand, especially in the area of technology. She cares about her students, the staff, and the whole culture at Chapel Lakes. She is an amazing asset.”
Join me in congratulating Lisa as our November Employee of the Month.
