Choose Your Path

BSSD’s new Annette Seago Career Innovation Center, made possible by the passing of the February 6, 2024 No Tax Increase Bond Issue, will open for the 2026-2027 school year. The facility will include state-of-the-art technology and classroom spaces, along with several new classes are also offered.
The courses provide a variety of Real World Learning opportunities and career paths. CIC will also offer additional classes in English III/IV and Dual Credit Personal Finance/Personal Finance next year
CIC Director Andy Mayfield said the additional courses are part of the CIC’s mission of “helping students find their Passion, their Purpose, their Path, and their Career.”
“We are very excited to be offering these opportunities for our students,” he said. “The wide variety of paths available is what the CIC is all about – preparing students for those next paths. We are also glad to offer the English and Personal Finance classes for BSSD students. They are offered at the high schools, but with them being in the CIC, students could tailor their schedules to have their entire schedule here.”
