Historic Performance
The Blue Springs South High School boys basketball team capped off the 2025-2026 season with its second state title game appearance in school history. The Jaguars took second place in the 2026 Missouri Class 6
State Championship game, rounding out a 28-4 season.
The Jaguars advanced to the title game with a 54-51 win over Cardinal Ritter in the Class 6 semifinal. Cooper Callahan sealed the victory with a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left to send the Jags to the championship game.
Senior Blayne Marshall was selected for the 2026 Class 6 Boys All-State Team. Marshall averaged 17.7 points, 6 rebounds, and 3.2 steals per game. Players Maksim Hymiller, Blayne Marshall, and AC Rollins were named to the All-District Team, and Coach Josh Smith was honored as the District 7 Coach of the Year.
