Blue Springs School District

Both BSSD high schools celebrated their homecoming weekends with parades through neighborhood streets. Blue Springs and Blue Springs South high schools have long-standing homecoming traditions that include parades celebrating the week’s football game, and all fall sports teams and activities.

The BSHS Golden Regiment and BSSHS Jaguar Pride marching bands each led their respective processions, followed by floats representing sports teams, student groups and academic activities. Feeder elementary and middle school groups also took part, as the parades traveled past large crowds and students at both Thomas Ultican and William Bryant elementary schools.
