Focused On Kids and Safety First

Our transportation team is dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and efficient bus service for all Blue Springs School District students. To ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone, all students must follow our bus regulations. Students who do not comply may be denied bus-riding privileges.

We use the latest technology to give you the best transportation information available.

Infofinder: This program allows you to easily find bus stop locations and pick-up times for your student's route.

Stopfinder: We're excited to introduce Stopfinder, a new school bus tracking application! This app gives you real-time updates on your student's bus location. To get started, please visit our quick start guide for information and how to request access.

Bus Stop Rules & Requests
We assign bus stops within each neighborhood for a quick and easy loading process. Please have your student at their designated stop at least five minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. While we aim for bus rides to be less than 30 minutes each way, travel times can vary depending on the distance to the school.

If you need to request a change to your student's bus stop, please download and review the Stop Change Request Form.

    Winter Dress Policy:

The Transportation Department reminds you of our winter dress policy for all of our buses in the district. We require that Blue Springs School District students riding any route or trip bus to wear warm clothes, socks, shoes, and a winter coat in order to board the bus.

Although we attempt to maintain an excellent and safe fleet of buses, a school bus may experience a problem that forces it to shut down during the route or trip. During the winter months our weather can be extremely cold and unpredictable. Therefore, we ask that you make sure your children are properly dressed for the winter weather.
