2019 BLUE SPRINGS CHESS CHALLENGE : The 2019 Blue Springs Chess Challenge is January 26th at Paul Kinder Middle School. Free entry for Kindergarten-12th grade. Participants must attend a Blue Springs school. Check in begins at 9:30 AM. All chess sets and chess clocks are provided. You may obtain a form in the office to send in or register online at REG4Chess.com. There is NO on-site registration. More information can be found on the DWMS website or on the flyer in the office.

 

 

SCHOOL IN SESSION ON APRIL 22: Please take note that the school calendar has changed. We will have school on Monday, April 22, to make up one of our snow days. April 22 was a no school day for Easter break on the original school calendar.

 

 

ASSEMBLY SCHEUDULE: We will be on an assembly schedule , Friday, January 25th. Lunchtimes will be as follows:

 

7th grade: 10:45 - 11:09

 

8th grade: 11:11 - 11:35

 

6th grade: 11:37 - 12:00

 

  

 

BOX TOPS and BEST CHOICE LABELS : Congratulations to Ms. Koeninger, Mrs. Ely and Mrs. Brownsberger’s Gator Time classes for winning the Semester 1 Box Tops/Best Choice Label class competition! They will receive a donut party provided by Ridgewood Donuts as their prize. A shout-out to Mrs. Black’s and Mr. Hackett’s Gator Time classes for coming in 2nd and 3rd.

The Semester 2 competition has begun, so keep collecting and turning in your labels. Each label is worth cash for our school to use for projects, labs and classroom materials. Plus, all students who turn in Box Tops and/or Best Choice labels will be entered into a drawing in May for some great prizes.

 

 

MAJOR SAVER ANNOUNCEMENT:  Congratulations to everyone who earned the Jelly Sports Ball on top of your regular prizes.
