Volunteers

All Blue Springs School District volunteers play an important part in educating our students, and the district has a multitude of volunteer opportunities. District volunteers do not need any special skills, they simply need to possess a desire to make a positive difference in the life of a student. Annually, parents and community members spend thousands of hours volunteering. Examples of volunteer opportunities include: peer and career day counselors, curricular and text book committees, vocational advisory board, Citizens’ Advisory Committee, Blue Springs Education Foundation committees, assisting with health screenings, lending an extra hand in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, office work, and more. The Blue Springs School District is always seeking the assistance of volunteers, and in order to keep our schools safe all volunteers must be screened annually. District personnel have the right to refuse the services of any volunteer.

All volunteers need to fill out the Volunteer Application Form and return to their building secretary.
