Meal Service and Technology Update

Meal service model for 6-12 students from 11/30 – 12/18

Between November 30 and December 18, all students in grades 6-12 will have access to free breakfast and lunch. Meals need to be ordered online through School Café by 8:30 a.m. to be picked up at your student’s home school. If you have students in more than one school, you may pick up all your meals from one location. Upon pick up, you will receive lunch for the day and breakfast for the following day.

BHMS – 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the south side
DWMS – 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on the west side near the front office
MRMS – 10:15-11:45 a.m. on the east side
PKMS – 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the north side
BSHS – 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the north side near the front office
BSSHS – 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the south side near the Freshman wing
FCHS – 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the south side near the front office

If you haven’t already and plan to order meals, please create an account for each student in School Café. All meal orders must be placed by 8:30 a.m., and for your convenience, you may pre-order meals up to seven days in advance.

Daily menus may be found at the School Cafe under your school pickup location name and “curbside menu.”

If your family was already taking advantage of curbside pick up as a BSSD distance learner or when on quarantine, you may continue doing so as usual. Your pickup site will be the same, with the only possible change being the expanded pickup times.

BSSD Technology Help Desk Information

There are two ways students and parents can obtain technology help while at home during distance learning after Thanksgiving Break. First, the district website contains information on troubleshooting issues that might arise while using technology at home. Students and parents may also call the help desk phone line at 874-3242 from 7:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
