- Certified positions consist of teaching or administrative positions

- Upon completion of the above, all files will be reviewed. Based on district needs, necessary interviews will be scheduled. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews as vacancies occur. The majority of interviews are scheduled from February 15 through June 15.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and must hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri teaching certificate.
- Prior to employment, candidates must successfully complete an FBI/Highway Patrol Background check.
- Prior to employment, we will need to have the placement office of your college or university forward a completed transcript of your undergraduate and graduate courses and a copy of your credentials. PLEASE do not send this until you have been offered a position with the Blue Springs School District.

How many years of teaching experience can I bring in to Blue Springs R-IV?
Beginning in the fall of 2006, the Board of Education has made the commitment to allow all years of teaching experience in to our district as they are appropriate on our salary schedule. The Blue Springs R-IV certified salary schedule allows for up to 18 years of experience.
How do I apply for a position?
