Mrs. Alyssa Trittin-DeSantis

Alyssa Trittin-DeSantis is in her sixth year of teaching, but it is her first year in the Blue Springs School District. Her first five years teaching were spent at Lake Travis Middle School in the Austin, Texas area.

While at Lake Travis Middle School her Concert Band received sweepstakes at Texas UIL competitions as well as “Outstanding Performer” at Texas Music Festivals.

Mrs. DeSantis will be teaching the beginning Woodwind classes at Paul Kinder Middle School as well as assisting with all Golden Regiment activities at Blue Springs High School. During the first semester, she will also be teaching a Music Appreciation class at the Freshman Center. 

Mrs. Trittin-DeSantis earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. While attending the University of Texas, Mrs. DeSantis studied horn with Patrick Hughes and performed with several University groups, including the University of Texas Wind Ensemble, UT Wind Symphony, UT LongHORN Choir and Longhorn Band. She was also an active member of Sigma Alpha Iota, Tau Beta Sigma and UT’s Student Music Educators Association.

When not performing or teaching, Mrs. DeSantis enjoys cooking delicious food and attending musicals.
