Mrs. Tammy Warson
Welcome to my webpage. I am so excited to be starting my 26th year in the school district. I have worked in the deaf and hard of hearing program every one of those years and I absolutely love it! My goal is to look at each child's individual needs. My major belief about the population I serve is the build upon and improve their language base. That can be through pull-out therapy services in my room or providing resources for the D/HH teachers and even our mainstream classroom teachers. A strong language base is the best support for improving speech and auditory skills.
I also serve the students who are deaf or hard of hearing at Delta Woods Middle School, Blue Springs South High School and Blue Springs High School. *See traveling schedule below.
On a personal note, I am married and have two children. My adult daughter lives and teaches in London. I also have an 8th grade son who attends Moreland Ridge Middle School. I love animals. Right now we have two dogs and two cats in our home. When I am not at the soccer field watching my son play or serving in my church, I really just like to relax at home and watch old movies or home improvement shows, plus baking is my favorite stress reliever.
