My name is Gina Snead. I am very excited about getting to know your child this year! One of my goals this year is to help your child learn to love school and build positive peer relationships, while making valuable academic progress.
I have been part of the Chapel Lakes Team since 1997. In my eighteen years of teaching, I have taught second, third and fifth grades as well as participated in the MU Fellows Mentor Program where I mentored beginning teachers for several years.
My family is very important to me. I have two teenage daughters who are involved in many sports and school activities. My husband of 19 years is also an educator and works as a technology instructor for the Fort Osage School District.
I know we will have a wonderful year! I believe strongly that open communication between home and school is essential to your child's academic success in first grade! I cannot wait to get to know you and your child.
