Preschool General Information
I am the director of the Blue Springs High School Preschool, a lab school, with high school students as the teachers. It is for Pre-K children who have turned 4 by August 1. As a general rule, preschool is Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00 - 1:20. We need flexible families who can change weekdays during holiday weeks, assemblies, or state testing. The cost is $150 each semester, with a $25 enrollment fee to hold a spot. Children bring a cold lunch daily, and eat in the room. Transportation is not provided by the district.Children must be 100% potty trained, needing no toileting assistance from the high school students.High school students create and implement thematic lessons. These include lessons in math, language arts, science, music, crafts, and large motor skills. I strive for a one to one match of children and students for individual attention. This is an exciting program, with creative lessons. The high school students give wonderful care and grow very close to the children. For more information or to put your child on the list for attending in the future, e-mail me at email@example.com or call my extention at the high school, 50003.Our program often fills one year in advance, so get on the list early.
