Mission and Objectives
- Assist adults to become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency;
- Assist adults who are parents to obtain the educational skills necessary to become full partners in the educational development of their children; and
- Assist adults in the completion of a secondary school education.
Classes Offered
Adult Basic Education Classes
Reading, writing, and mathematics for learners functioning at or below the 8th grade equivalency.
HSE Prep Classes
Reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science and literature for learners functioning at the 9 - 12 grade level.
Transition Programs
Instruction specifically designed to prepare adult learners to enter post-secondary education, higher education, training programs and/or to improve their employability.
All Saturday and Thursday sessions are:
session 1 - 9:30 - 11:00
session 2 - 11:00 - 12:30
All Monday sessions are:
session 1 - 5:00 - 6:30
session 2 - 6:30 - 8:00
Blue Springs Residency is required for admittance to the program.
