    Students of the Month!!!

    Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole, nominated by Mrs. Schuberth

Ashley is an excellent student and involved in numerous activities: Jags United, Louder than a Bomb slam poetry, KC Storytellers, Bio-Med program, and possibly more. She is a leader in LTAB and is always respectful. I couldn't ask for a better student. She is a brilliant poet. She has already been published in several youth magazines with her powerful social commentaries.

    Riley Gregston

Rylie Gregston, nominated by Mrs. Ladd

Rylie Gregston is one of the most outstanding young women I've had the privilege to teach. Rylie works hard during and outside of class to make sure she is always well-prepared. Rylie is a natural leader in small group discussion. The hard work and quality leadership I see in class is readily apparent when you watch Rylie on the volleyball court. Rylie was an integral part of the Lady Jags extremely successful season this fall. Beyond her talent for volleyball, she is an encourager for her teammates and helps lead play on the court. Her teammates trust Rylie to lead them as do her coaches. Beyond school and volleyball Rylie volunteers in a variety of activities. Rylie has a quick smile, a kind heart, and an outstanding work ethic that will serve her well when she leaves BSSHS.

What an excellent example of what it means to be a positive member of the Jaguar community.  Congratulations to both of these outstanding students!
