Students of the Month!!!
Today we celebrated two outstanding students
as our September Students of the Month!
Madelyn Padget and Sam Brown
Madelyn is a Junior and was nominated by Mr. Bean. She is willing to go above and beyond what is asked and is always conscious of others. While maintaining high academic standards, she stays very involved in the community performing. This summer she was 1 or 10 finalists in a KC singing competition. Last month she was crowned as this year's KC Superstar. Even with these accolades, she maintains a humble attitude willing to work to make her craft better and making those around her more successful.
Sam is a Senior and was nominated by Mr. Hansen. As a section leader for Jaguar Pride, his effort, attitude and energy has been infectious throughout the band. His playing is among the bet trumpets in the state. Beyond the band room, Sam is also on the Varsity Football team. He has worked hard all summer attending practices for both teams and doing a great job for both programs.
What an excellent example of what it means to be a positive member of the Jaguar community. Congratulations to both of these outstanding students!
