Arrival/Dismissal Procedure

  • Car riders may enter the building at 8:55 am daily. Please refrain from bringing your students any earlier, as we do not have supervision prior to 8:55 am. If you have questions about drop-off or pick-up traffic flow, please contact the school office at 874-3670. Your assistance in following the traffic flow, particularly in the afternoon, will help keep our traffic from backing up onto Valley View Road.

    Thank you for your support of Community Unity Week! We had outstanding particiption and collected over 2,850 food items. This food went directly to the members of our comminity. Thank you again for your support in teaching our students the power of giving.   


  • Kindergarten Enrollment/Screening 2018-2019 School Year

    Formal enrollment for incoming kindergartners will occur at resident elementary school sites  on Thursday, February 22th, from Noon to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, February 23rd , from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    What is needed?

    • An appointment! As enrollment AND screening will occur within a single school visit, an appointment will increase efficiency and speed up the process. Call your school office (874-3670) to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. At the time of the call, your incoming kindergartner’s DOB, full legal name, and gender will be requested.
    • Child’s birth certificate (state copy)
    • Parent photo identification
    • TWO types of residency verification
      • Examples of allowable residency confirmation documents:
        • Driver’s license with present district address
        • Current utility bill (gas, water, electric) within last 30 days – NO SHUT OFF NOTICES or delinquent bills – must include occupant’s name and address
        • Lease agreement with the same information
        • Construction contract if building a home – including expected completion.
        • Pay stub with current address on it
    • Current immunization record
    • If applicable, divorce decree, parenting plan, and/or pertinent adoption or foster care paperwork 
    A kindergarten screening will be completed at the time of enrollment.  Please remember that children must be five prior to August 1, 2018, in order to attend the upcoming school year.

    Coderdojo is a global collaboration providing free and open learning to young people, especially in programming technology. All skillsets are welcome, including those with no experience.Those with more advanced knowledge will be assisted in creating more advanced projects. Please arrive promptly at 9:30am.All ages will need a parent to sign a permission slip upon arrival. Kids under 13 will requre a parent to remain on site during the session. Open to grades K-5.
