• Moreland Ridge Middle School is proud to be the home of the 2017-18 Blue Springs School District Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Tara Pennington, library media specialist.  This morning the Blue Springs School District honored its 2017-18 building Teachers of the Year and named the District Teacher of the Year at the annual Teacher of the Year Breakfast. She was honored Friday morning and then returned to MRMS, where students were lined up outside, through the halls and all the way into the Dr. Nancy Stonner Media Center. Mrs. Pennington will represent the Blue Springs School District throughout the school year next year.  We are so proud of her and wanted to share with our school family the exciting news.
