Welcome to Delta Woods Middle School

    This will be an early release day, lunch will be served, and students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

    Yearbook Sales - Cash or Check will be accepted for non-pre-sale yearbooks beginning Thursday May 24 at 7:45 a.m. in the cafeteria. The cost is $40 while supplies last.


    Summer Math Enrichment - Summer Math Challenge to help students retain math. This program is free and includes daily emails with work for students. For more information click here.  


    Gators Give Back - What can you do this summer to give back to others?  Delta Woods Middle School is challenging you to get out in your community and volunteer your time to benefit people you care about and focus on others’ needs over your own.     SCHEDULE UPDATES FOR MAY We will be on an Assembly Schedule on the following dates in May. The  18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and the 24th. Lunchtimes will be as follows. 7th: 10:45-11:09, 8th: 11:11-11:35, 6th: 11:37-12:00.

    GIRLS ON FIRE SUMMER CAMP - Blue Springs Police Department is offering a free, week long summer workshop for girls in the Blue Springs School District (grades 6-12). The Girls on Fire Summer Camp will address the unique set of challenges facing young girls by encouraging healthy relationships, discipline, self-esteem, and health & wellness. Camp activities include workshops, physical fitness, and guest presenters including female officers from the Blue Springs Police Department and other female leaders from the community. Two available session dates: (June 4th- 8th 8:30am – 12:00pm or July 30th –August 3rd 8:30am-12:00pm). Applications available in the front office or counseling department.     ATTENTION 8TH GRADE STUDENTS - There will be a Hawaiin Luau themed picnic/mixer on Tuesday, May 22 after the 8th grade field trip. This will be held at Delta Woods during the school day. Hotdogs, chips, snacks and other food will be offered but students are welcome to buy a lunch in the cafeteria or bring their own lunch and have a picnic outside if they wish. There will be games, music, fun events outside and inside, a lot of food, and photo booths, so bring your cell phones to take pictures of one another!     The annual PTA pool pass drive has begun! Soon it will be summer and time to enjoy the activities at The Blue swimming pool. Buy a family pass for up to  6 persons for just $125 and your school’s PTA will get $10. Buy an individual summer pass for $75 and your PTA will get $5. You can also sign up your student for discounted swimming lessons at the same time.Fill out the attached forms and return to your school during the PTA pool pass drive, April 23-May 25. Get ready for a great summer of swimming and fun at The Blue and help your PTA raise money at the same time.  The Blue opens to the public for the summer on Friday, June 1.
