LFE PTA is a strong and active organization that supports students, teachers and families. We plan and execute many activities throughout the school year including a breakfast with your child, Grandparents Day, Ice Cream Social, school carnival and silent auction. We plan and support teacher appreciation events, family fun nights, 5th grade picnic and 2 huge school-wide parties. In addition we provide snacks for grade level performances and track & field day, lead 2nd grade book club, award 2 scholarships to graduating seniors , staff the book fair, assist in the library, assist with newsletters, organize and sell school Spirit items, coordinate the national PTA Reflections program and many, many more duties throughout the year. PTA parents are even here to help you with Kindergarten enrollment and registration. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, Misty Engler.

Objectives of the PTA
- To promote the welfare of all children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship
- To raise the standards of home life
- To Secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

PTA meetings are 7:00 pm at Lucy Franklin typically on the 2nd Monday of the month. Dates left:

Childcare will be provided for these meetings at LFE.
You don't have to be a board member to attend PTA board meetings, all parents are welcome and encouraged to attend board meetings.
Attending meetings is a great way to learn more about what is going on at LFE.
