I am in my 18th year of teaching and 15th at Moreland Ridge Middle School. I also am starting my 13th year as the head football coach at Moreland. My wife Shelly is the physical education teacher at Brittany Hill Middle School. I have 2 sons, Austin and Aiden.

The 7th grade social studies class focuses on Ancient History. We will study the ancient river valley civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, India and China. We also cover Ancient Greece, Rome and Medieval Europe.

8th Grade social studies is American History from the 1500's through Reconstruction. Main points of emphasis will be colonization, Revolutionary War, Constitution, Manifest Destiny and the Westward Movement and the Civil War and Reconstruction.
