LFE PTA is a strong and active organization that supports students, teachers and families. We plan and execute many activities throughout the school year including a breakfast with your child, Grandparents Day, Ice Cream Social, school carnival and silent auction. We plan and support teacher appreciation events, family fun nights, 5^th grade picnic and 2 huge school-wide parties. In addition we provide snacks for grade level performances and track & field day, lead 2^nd grade book club, award 2 scholarships to graduating seniors , staff the book fair, assist in the library, assist with newsletters, organize and sell school Spirit items, coordinate the national PTA Reflections program and many, many more duties throughout the year. PTA parents are even here to help you with Kindergarten enrollment and registration. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, Misty Engler.

Objectives of the PTA

To promote the welfare of all children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship
To raise the standards of home life
To Secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

You don't have to be a board member to attend PTA board meetings, all parents are welcome and encouraged to attend board meetings.
