I graduated with a double major in early childhood and elementary education from Central Missouri State University in 1992. I then went on to earn a Master of Arts in speech-language pathology from the University of Kansas in 1996. I have worked as a speech-language pathologist since that time. Before coming to the BSSD in the fall of 2004, I worked in a variety of settings including a rehabilitation hospital, pediatric clinic, home health, First Steps, and contract work with school districts (early childhood special education, Junior High, elementary). This my 5th year working as the speech-language pathologist (speech therapist) at Moreland Ridge Middle School and Delta Woods Middle School. I provide speech and language therapy typically in a small group setting, as well as teach Social Skills classes.
