Delta Woods Middle School PTA

WELCOME   to the Delta Woods Middle School PTSA Web site!   

The Delta Woods Middle School (DWMS) Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a local PTSA unit located in the Three Trails Region of the Missouri Congress of Parents and Teachers (Missouri PTA), a branch of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers (National PTA).  Our objectives align with those of the National PTA and Missouri PTA:

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
• To raise the standards of home life.
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
• To bring into close relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently.
• To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and adults through social and spiritual education.

DWMS PTSA committees support these objectives by:

• Assisting with and leading student activities, school sponsored socials, and creative arts programs (Mixers, Student Directory, and Reflections).
• Enriching family school relationships through special events (Generations Celebration, Parent Lunch Week and other programs to be announced).
• Providing support to school projects and programs (Health & Safety, Magazine Sale, MAP Testing Brain Food, and the Friends of DWMS Committee).
• Participating in district academic and recognition programs (Scholarships, Teacher/Staff Appreciation).
• Communicating relevant issues regularly to members through the DWMS newsletter, The Gator Gazette.
