The Blue Springs Transportation Departments includes over 150 buses and efficiently transports over 10,000 students to and from school each day. Prior to the 2009 bond issue, we were quickly outgrowing our capacity. The Transportation Project relocated the department and provided us with necessary space for continued growth. With bond dollars we accomplished the following:

Improved Facilities

• Office facility for staff
• 8 bay garage for bus maintenance
• improved access for buses and efficiency

Addressed Growth

• Parking spaces for buses
• adequate parking spaces for employees
