Christmas Break:  Is December 22, 2008 - January 5, 2009. Students return to school for 2nd semester on Tuesday, January 6, 2009.  The office will be open December 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2008 from 8 am - 3 pm.

Finals Make up Exams:  All finals must be made up by Tuesday, Dec. 30th. Students needing to make up their final exams need to have contacted their teacher(s) directly prior to the end of the semester to arrange for the test to be left in the main office. If your teacher left a test for you to make up, you can come to the FA Office from 8 am - 2 pm on Monday - Dec. 22, Tuesday - Dec. 23, Monday - Dec. 29 or Tuesday - Dec. 30 to take the test.  Please bring all supplies with you.

2008 PTA Reflections Contest - The theme for this year's national PTA Reflections Contest is "WOW!" Enter your original work in musical composition, dance choreography, film/video production, literature, visual arts or photography no later than January 6th. Forms are available in the FA Office.

Breakfast Now Available at BSHS! We are now serving breafast here in the cafeteria from 6:55 am - 7:20 am each morning. Cost is only $1.25!

Cell Phone Policy:  Students are NOT allowed to use their cell phones for any reason during class time (even if they are outside the classroom).  Students ARE allowed to use their cell phones during all passing periods and their scheduled lunch time.  Students who use their cell phones inappropriately will be sent to their principal's office for a discipline referral with the following consequences:  1st offense - Saturday Detention; 2nd offense - 2 days of ISD (in-school detention); 3rd offense - 3 days of OSS (out of school suspension).

No Parking - there is no student parking in the Blue Springs Assembly Church parking lot (across the street from the school).

BSHS is a closed campus for lunch. Students are not allowed to leave campus dirng 5th hour lunch period, outside food from restaurants cannot be brought in to students and visitors cannot eat lunch with students. If a student must leave during 5th hour, they will only be excused with a doctor's note or if a parent is with the student to check them out and back in to school.
