Blue Springs High School Presents

"Thoroughly Modern Milly"

February 9-11 at 7pm in the PAC.

Tickets are $7. for students $8. for adults

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Do you want to attend Prom this year? If so, starting TODAY 1/4/12 every MINUTE counts!!!

Students whose attendance drops below 90% for 2^nd semester attendance will not be allowed to attend PROM. Attendance will be counted by the minute – tardies and late arrivals will work against your attendance. An attendance appeal will be available and will be due by April 27^th at 7:00 A.M.

Prom tickets will go on sale April 30^st. Students with 95% attendance will be able to buy tickets at a discounted price.

Parents Please Note:

The Blue Springs School District Board of Education voted to amend the school calendar for the 2011 -2012 school year.

February 21, 2012 will be a student attendance day.

The district was notified in mid-September that the State Boys' and Girls' Soccer Championships will be held at BSSHS and BSHS. This is a great opportunity for the district that will bring revenue to the community and an opportunity for students in the metropolitan area to experience soccer at the State Championship level. The Boys' Championship will be held on November 18 and 19 and as a result, the stadiums and surrounding parking lots will be in use. Over the course of the weekend, it is expected there will be more than 8,000 players, coaches and spectators combined. The Girls' Championships will be held on June 1-2, of 2012.

ATTENDANCE OFFICE LOCATION: Our Attendance Office is now at the new Student Entrance, located on the west side of the Big Gym off of the student parking lot (where tickets are sold for football games). All students must be checked in and out of this office during school hours, 7:25 am - 2:15 pm. There is parking access for parents to drive back there and pick up or drop off their students.
