Faced with the continued challenges Blue Springs High School had two concerns addressed with the 2009 Bond Issue: safety and facility improvements.

Issues addressed that increased safety:

• Closed the gaps between buildings
• Provided secure student/visitor access
• Relocated Administrative Area
• Improved driveway
• Eliminated mobile unit

Improvements made to the facility

Wildcat pride is effused throughout the school and the needs of students that use the activity spaces during the day and as a part of their co-curriculur involvement are increasing. Improvements to the school included:

• Removed mobile unit
• Reconfigured classrooms
• Science
• Art
• Video media
• PLTW
• Vocational Agriculture
• Improve activity space
• Locker rooms
• Press box
• Wrestling room
• Gym ceiling
• Weight room
• Athletic training room

The guidance and support of our community allowed Blue Springs High School to maintain the tradition of excellence and allowed our students to forge new paths toward success.
